Yesterday I read Anthony Weller’s book The Land of
Later On and I couldn't keep back the tears. It touched me so deeply and is
so beautifully written that I conjured up images of my mom, Multiple Sclerosis,
paralysis, thoughts of suicide, pain, loss. The list goes on and on. He is
brilliant and I can't help wondering what experiences in his life led him to
write this book.
This wonderful story is not nearly as depressing as I may have made it sound... it's just that it resonates so clearly and brings into focus what we as people with Multiple Sclerosis or other disabilities may go through and feel.
It reached me so deeply. Put this one on your reading list.
